Narcissistic Abuse Counselling

Making sense of what you have experienced

Birds brown
If you have experienced narcissistic abuse, you may feel confused, exhausted or unsure what is real anymore. Manipulation, gaslighting and emotional control can leave you questioning your own thoughts, feelings and sense of self.

Many people who have been in relationships involving narcissistic behaviour describe feeling anxious, stuck or constantly on edge. Over time, these experiences can affect confidence, emotional wellbeing and the ability to trust your own judgement.

Together, we can gently make sense of your experiences, helping you regain clarity, rebuild self trust, grow your self esteem and begin moving forward at a pace that feels right for you.
Online counselling sessions available.

We will always go at your pace.

Professional counselling you can trust

Hello, my name is Alicia and I am an Accredited Counsellor with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I have worked extensively with clients who have been in relationship with people displaying narcissistic traits, and I have lived experience of my own which I talk about openly in my Instagram account hope_after_narcissistic_abuse.

Experiences like this can leave you questioning yourself, your confidence, and your sense of reality. You may feel overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure how to move forward. My aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as you begin to process what has happened and reconnect with your own sense of clarity and strength.

My counselling approach is integrative, drawing on a range of therapeutic models including person-centred therapy, Transactional Analysis, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I also use psychoeducation to help clients understand the emotional and psychological impact of difficult relationships, which can often bring relief, validation, and a clearer perspective.

Whether you are in or recovering from a difficult relationship, navigating emotional challenges, or simply looking for a space to talk and reflect, I can offer the support and understanding that can help you move forward.

What clients have said

Birds brown
Alicia's approach is both kind and professional. She never came across as judgemental which I believe is crucial in a good Psychotherapist, but she also challenged my thinking occasionally where appropriate...equally crucial. Her thoughtful insights have been helpful in addressing my issues. I appreciate her dedication and practical advice she offers during our sessions. I would happily recommend Alicia to anyone seeking a warm, kind and compassionate Psychotherapist.

Thank you so so much for all your support over the last 2.5 years. I can't put into words how grateful I am for all the hours you have listened to me without judgement, encouraged me, allowed me a safe space to vocalise the things in my head and asked gentle, probing questions that helped me realise things for myself.
